[JavaScript] Graphics with Firefox.

Although I'm a huge fan of VBScript, I realize that many people aren't. That's why I'm trying to accomodate them as well. I know that Internet Explorer has filter commands that allow you to add shadows and sparkles to text in web pages, but I also know that those commands are exclusive to Internet Explorer. I'm trying to find commands that will achieve the same effect in Firefox.

I also would like to know if there are any commands that can allow you to turn pixels on and off using JavaScript. I wouldn't mind drawing a sunset on my computer screen. It would be really cool if the sun were to sink into the horizon using animation. I would like to avoid using Java applets if I can. Some people don't trust Java Applets.
